I have just uploaded my Brand New CD entitled, "Jesus, The Only Name That Saves." The first 10 songs on my player here are the new CD. I hope you enjoy the songs. "Reach For The Bible, Instead of The Bottle," "Heaven Came Down And Memories Filled My Soul," "The Name Of Jesus Is Still The Only Name That Saves," are the last 3 Songs my friend, Marty Whiddon, wrote before he passed away. In 1986 my Quartet, "The Golden Echoes," went into Raven Studio in Dothan, Alabama and recorded the album "We Shall See Jesus." This album was recorded like a live album with our band playing behind us just like they did in a concert, so it was like a concert only in the studio. - I now have a CD ministry. I have 3 CDs out 1. From The Cross, Through The Garden, To The Tomb - released in 2010. 2. Singing Country Gospel - Release in 2011, and 3. Zack Martin Sing Marty Whiddon's Songs - also released in 2011
ABOUT ME- I am a disabled minister with 35 years full time service for my Lord. I am a Licensed and Ordained Minister of Southern Baptist Faith. I have an Associates degree from Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama. and attended Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, Florida (Majored in Theology with a Minor in Music). The name of the college has changed to Florida Baptist College. I have served 12 Churches in my 35 years of service. I served 11 as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor, and I also pastored one church for 4 years. I became disabled in 2006 at the age of 56 years old. I was prescribe a power chair in 2009 to get around in and it was then that I felt led to start a new ministry with Cds. My voice is about the only part of my body left that is any good, so I started recording Cds as a tool to witness for my Lord. Marcus "Marty," Whiddon, has been my friend for about 20 years now, and has written most of the songs I have had the pleasure to record on my last 2 projects, "From The Cross, Through The Garden, To The Tomb," in 2010, and "Singing Country Gospel," in 2011. I was Blessed to record 8 of his songs on those 2 CDs. I also will have 3 more of his songs on my 2012 project (as yet untitled). It will hopefully be out around May or June.
