Hello everyone, I have only been a member of God's Media Army a couple of days, but I am already enjoying it. I just started writing by doing blogs about my Bible Studies. Jamey I love your Poem "I Am Blessed." I have posted a blog here under that same name, but I hadn't seen your poem when I wrote the blog, so I wasn't grabbing your title. Since I joined IGA, I have began to write a little. Writing is something that I really wasn't aware I could do before I joined IGA. I served as Minister of Music & Youth Pastor full time for 35 years, and I was too busy directing choirs, taking youth to summer camps, and on mission trips to even think about recording CDs or writing. But, since I became disabled, God has led me into doing these things. I'm not physically able to mingle out n the public anymore, but I am able to write messages from God, and sing, and these are what God has led me to do now.

I Am Blessed

God lifts me high above my problems

high above my pain

when the storms of life disturb me

I fly high

ABOVE THE RAIN!

lightening flashing over

I'm under attack

the winds blow

but GOD lifts me higher

and still higher

I kiss the skies the clouds dont yet know

my SAVIOUR breathes into me

I feel the nailprints in HIS hands

HE gives me strength for this journey

I'm no longer sinking in quicksand

when my feet touch the ground

I feel steady

I'm sturdy, not shaken

and I take quiet rest

in the fact that my SAVIOUR always comes!

HE SURROUNDS ME!!!!!

through every storm HE WALKS WITH ME!

I STAND TALL!!!!

I AM BLESSED!!!!
